Truth For Youth America, is a non-profit Christian organization that seeks to evangelize & educate young people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and relevant teaching of the Word of God, equip youth workers to effectively minister to teens and encourage parents with biblical principles for raising teenagers.
ABOUT PASTOR SHAWN MCBRIDE
Pastor Shawn McBride is an ordained minister of the Gospel and is impacting today’s American youth culture. He is a dynamic communicator, traveling extensively across the United States speaking to students, youth leaders and parents. His passion for God, relevant approach, love for people and creative style in presenting the Word of God, is one you will not soon forget. His ability to teach solid biblical principles to students is truly a gift from God.
Since 1992, Pastor Shawn has ministered to a nearly a quarter of a million young people in numerous cities across the United States from various denominations and ethnic groups. He especially enjoys speaking at conferences, camps and retreats where he can minister to young people beyond the podium, spending quality, one-on-one time with them.
Pastor Shawn is a graduate of Washington Bible College where he has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the Capital Bible Seminary. He is the founder and lead pastor of New Life Community Church located in Bowie, Maryland and also serves as the Professor of Youth Ministry at Washington Bible College. Pastor Shawn is happily married to Dana Michelle and is the proud father of five children; TeShara, Jeremiah, Zachariah, Jessica-Faith and Naomi-Grace. Currently they make their home in the suburbs of Washington, DC.
